What is TikHit?

TikHit is a service that monitors driver license activities for you, your household and your company’s employees. This way you can keep track of the DUI’s, DWI’s, moving violations, license revocations, and suspensions.

Why would I want my license or the license of my employees to be monitored?

It’s important for you as a driver to know the extent of your own driving activity so that you can ensure that your license won’t be suspended. Additionally, as an employer, you are responsible in ensuring that all of your drivers’ activities are legal as well. You don’t want to have to find out the hard way that one of your drivers had his license revoked.

Can TikHit monitor my driver license no matter where I am located in the United States?

No, we currently can only monitor activity within New York. We can notify out of state drivers about activity on there license that takes place within New York.

Why should I use TikHit if my insurance company checks motor vehicle records for me anyway?

Your insurance company only checks records minimally. When you use TikHit you will receive constant alerts and updates about the status of your license activity as well as your employees and family members.

Do I need to inform my employees that I am using TikHit to monitor their driving activities?

You should inform your employees that you are using TikHit because motor vehicles may qualify as consumer reports, thus requiring compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). You should make sure that your employees are informed and that they agree to you monitoring their driving activities.

I understand that I should use TikHit for my employers, but why should I use it for my family?

If you have a family of teenagers, they may be running up tickets for speeding, tickets for red-lights, DUI’s and DWI’s and choose not to inform you of any of their misdemeanors. It’s important for you as a parent to be able to monitor their activity so that they will drive in a safe and cautious manner.

Is TikHit free?

No, TikHit is a paid subscription service.

What other uses might there be for TikHit?

Government agencies and school districts might find that using TikHit will greatly ease their burden in keeping track of all the numerous drivers that they employ. TikHit will let them know if any of their drivers has had their licenses suspended or revoked recently, so that they can prevent accidents from happening, or avoid paying penalties or fines.

Will using TikHit help me in case I need to go to court for a moving violation?

No, using TikHit will not be able to help you in court. You are responsible for your own driving. TikHit can only monitor your driving activity and those of your company or household.

Will using TikHit help me in traffic court?

If you were sent to traffic court because of fraudulent use of your license AND if you have a really good traffic lawyer, it may be able to help you in court. But we can’t make any promises.

How does TikHit work?

TikHit is a subscription service. All you have to do is register your list of licenses and TikHit will monitor them for you. It is a pro-active driver’s license activity service, so we will send you an alert any time that a driver’s license activity has occurred. Additionally, we will keep you informed regarding renewals and expirations, so you will be able to keep track of licenses in your company in your home, and make sure everyone is driving on an up to date license.

How is TikHit able to monitor all of these licenses?

TikHit has access to MVA and DMV records and checks up on the daily driver’s license activities. They make sure to check out every license everyday so that you won’t be caught by surprise.

Is it necessary for me to use TikHit for all of my employees and independent contractors?

Yes, as an employer you are liable for any injury or damage caused by an employed driver or independent contractor. Since you are in responsible, it is in your best interest to keep on track of all your drivers’ actions. Monitoring their activities will hopefully prevent you from having to pay their driving penalties or fines.

Why should I use TikHit to monitor my own driving activity?

TikHit will track all of your activities, and alert you in case you are drawing close to getting your license suspended yourself.

That’s a good reason, but it’s not enough to convince me to use it for myself. Do you have any other reasons?

Secondly, TikHit will let you know in case someone is using a fraudulent version of your license. It monitors and alerts you to any driving activity, so that you can notice if someone if driving your car out of state, at the wrong time, or anything else that may seem off.

Can I use TikHit outside of the United States?

You are able to access TikHit outside of the United States, but it only works for U.S. drivers’ licenses. Sorry.

Will using TikHit help me reinstate a suspended license?

Hopefully, by using TikHit you will be able to prevent suspended licenses from happening. When you use TikHit you can make sure that license suspension does not happen.

Is there a way to reduce fines for traffic violations if I use TikHit?

Again, the purpose of using TikHit is to monitor driving activity, and to hopefully prevent traffic violations from happening. We have no way of reducing fines or preventing suspensions.

Will using TikHit help me receive better car insurance rates?

That is up to your insurance company. They may appreciate that you are actively monitoring driver activities, ask them and find out!

Will using TikHit help me get my license reinstated?

TikHit’s aim is to be a preventative system. When you use TikHit, the goal is that by monitoring your driving activity you can prevent license suspension or revocation from happening in the first place.

What is Tikhit's return policy?

Our official return policy for all Tikhit products is as follows:

Tikhit will, at its discretion, allow for the return or replacement of any defective digital product within 60 days from the date of purchase. For recurring billing products, returns for more than one payment may be provided if requested within the standard 60 day return period. After 60 days all sales are final.

What is Tikhit's cancellation policy for recurring billing products?

The customer may cancel their recurring billing subscription products at any time.

What about customers who try to abuse the return policy?

Customers requesting serial or repeated returns will be blocked from making further purchases.

What is the policy for returns requested within 60 days?

Customers requesting a return within 60 days of purchase may be approved by our customer service team if the customer provides evidence that their case merits a return.

What is the policy for returns requested after 60 days?

Customers requesting a return after 60 days will be declined.

What is the difference between a refund and a cancellation?

If customers request a cancellation for their recurring billing product no future rebills will be charged to their account. Keep in mind, a cancellation will not generate a refund - it will only stop any future rebills.

How are customer inquiries handled?

When a customer reaches us by phone or email, our first response is to offer technical support for the product. However, in some cases, a product may be unsatisfactory to the customer for reasons completely beyond our control in which case a cancellation or a refund may be processed.

Please Note: Refunds can only be credited back to the account used to make the original purchase. If the original account has been closed, the purchase is not eligible for refund.

Is there any other reason why a sale might be reversed?

Tikhit has every incentive to keep customers happy by providing quality products and technical support. At times, we may reverse a sale in order to comply with: credit card industry rules, PayPal terms of service, US law, and requests from verified US judiciary or law enforcement agents.
